Also known as: Nucleofill Strong, Nucleofill Soft Plus, Nucleofill Medium Plus, Nucleofill Eyes
What is Nucleofill?
Nucleofill is made by Italian Promoitalia and is one of the most established polynucleotide products in Europe. The product has been on the market since 2018. The polynucleotides are longer DNA fragments than PDRN (Rejuran) — 200,000 to 1 million dalton — giving both regenerative effect and mild structural support.
How Nucleofill works
The polynucleotides drive fibroblasts to build collagen and elastin, hold water through hydrophilic groups in the molecular chain, and quench free radicals. The effect is hybrid between biostimulator and skin booster. Different Nucleofill versions vary in molecular weight and concentration tailored to different areas: Strong is the strongest, Eyes is formulated for thin periorbital skin.
Nucleofill at Dibélle
At Dibélle, Nucleofill is used for several indications: full-face skin quality (Medium Plus), thin periorbital skin (Eyes), neck and décolletage (Soft Plus), structural support (Strong). Treatment is given as a course of 2-3 sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
Results and safety
Results emerge over 6-8 weeks and last 6-9 months. Allergy risk is low because the polynucleotides are heavily purified DNA fragments. Common side effects: pinprick marks, mild swelling, and bruising at the injection site.
Common questions about Nucleofill
- What is the difference between Nucleofill and Rejuran?
- Both are DNA-based. Rejuran contains PDRN (50-1500 dalton) focused on regeneration. Nucleofill contains polynucleotides (200,000-1 million dalton) giving both regeneration and mild structural support. Nucleofill is hybrid; Rejuran is pure signalling.
- Which Nucleofill suits the eyes?
- Nucleofill Eyes is formulated specifically for thin periorbital skin — lower concentration and optimised rheology for safe injection under the eyes. The standard protocol is 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart.
- How long does Nucleofill last?
- Results last 6-9 months. Because it is a bio-stimulating product, the effect builds gradually over 6-8 weeks and fades gradually rather than abruptly.
- Can Nucleofill be used during pregnancy?
- No. As with all injectable treatments, Nucleofill is avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient documentation. Wait until after breastfeeding before treatment.
