What is a thread lift with PDO threads?
A thread lift is a non-surgical method for lifting and tightening the skin. Biodegradable PDO threads are inserted beneath the skin, providing an immediate lift while also stimulating collagen production for long-lasting results. At Dibélle in Helsingborg, the treatment is performed by a licensed nurse.
How long does a thread lift last?
The threads dissolve after 6 to 9 months, but the collagen that has formed provides results that can last 12 to 18 months. Follow-up treatments can be performed to maintain the effect.
Does a thread lift hurt?
The area is numbed with local anaesthesia before the procedure. Most people experience some discomfort during and tenderness after the treatment, which subsides within a few days.
