What is PRP treatment for the face?
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) involves taking a blood sample, separating the growth-factor-rich plasma through centrifugation, and injecting it into the facial skin. The growth factors stimulate collagen production and cell renewal naturally. At Dibélle in Helsingborg, the treatment is performed by a licensed nurse.
Why does PRP use my own blood?
Your own blood is rich in growth factors that rejuvenate the skin. The plasma we inject comes entirely from your body, completely natural and free from synthetic substances.
How long do PRP results last?
Results build up gradually over 4 to 8 weeks and typically last 12 to 18 months. For best results, 2 to 3 treatments spaced a few weeks apart are recommended.
Can I combine PRP with other treatments?
Yes, PRP combines excellently with Dermapen for enhanced results. The growth factors from PRP are absorbed more deeply through the microchannels created by Dermapen.
