What is Rejuran? Rejuran Healer is an innovative anti-aging treatment that is a very popular treatment in South Korea. Rejuran has a unique effect on the skin's ability to renew and heal. • A non-hyaluronic acid-based polynucleotide DNA • A bioremodelling injectable polynucleotide that stimulates your own body to produce collagen, in other words BIOSTIMULATION. Biostimulators work by increasing your skin's production of collagen. What are polynucleotides? Polynucleotides are long chains of amino acids that occur naturally in your body. They are found in the skin where they play important roles in skin health. Results can be seen as early as the first two weeks, but it takes 3–6 months for maximum collagen building to occur. How many treatments do I need? Most patients need 2–4 Rejuran sessions with 3 to 6 weeks apart. If you have significant skin concerns such as deep wrinkles, sun damage, and skin laxity, a fourth treatment may be beneficial. 1–2 sessions are required each year to replenish your collagen levels through continued stimulation of fibroblasts (collagen-producing cells). How long does the treatment take and does it hurt? Each treatment session takes between 10 to 15 minutes to perform. We use numbing cream for approximately 30 minutes before the Rejuran injections to reduce any discomfort. The Rejuran injections are placed 1–1.5 cm apart.
