About the treatment
Polynucleotides are the most talked-about treatment in regenerative aesthetics right now, and at Dibélle in Helsingborg it is available as a treatment in its own right, 2 ml for the whole face.
What are polynucleotides? They are polymers of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA, purified from salmon DNA. Salmon DNA is structurally similar to our own, which makes the fragments biocompatible. The molecular weight sits between 200,000 and 1 million dalton, meaning considerably longer chains than PDRN. That difference is the whole point: long chains deliver both a regenerative signal and mild structural support in the tissue. Polynucleotides are therefore a hybrid between a biostimulator and a skin booster.
In the skin they work in three ways at once. They signal your fibroblasts to build collagen and elastin. They bind water and hydrate the tissue from within. They quench free radicals and calm inflammation.

This is not filler. No volume is added and your features do not change. We inject superficially across the face and the session takes around 15 minutes. The result builds over 6 to 8 weeks and normally lasts 6 to 9 months. Most people start with 2 to 3 treatments a few weeks apart.
Important to know before treatment: the injection is performed by a registered nurse and no earlier than 48 hours after your consultation. Pregnant and breastfeeding individuals cannot be treated. If you have a fish or salmon allergy, an autoimmune condition or ongoing medication, we want to know before you book.
