Ejal 40 has similar properties to Profhilo and works on the same principle: stimulating your skin's own production of collagen and elastin. Collagen gives the skin firmness, elastin gives suppleness. Together, the skin regains strength and resilience. Ejal 40 also contains hyaluronic acid that binds moisture from within. How does Ejal 40 differ from Profhilo? Both are biostimulators based on hyaluronic acid and both work on the same principle. Ejal 40 is a newer product that often sits at a slightly lower price point, making it a good choice if you want to try a biostimulator without going straight to the most expensive product on the market. Results are comparable for most skin types. How does it work? Ejal 40 is injected at four points per side of the face and then spreads evenly through the tissue on its own. The session itself is done in about 15 to 20 minutes. We recommend a course of 3 treatments two weeks apart. After that, you maintain the result with 2 to 3 sessions per year. Treatment areas: face, neck and decolletage. Ejal 40 is suited for you who are starting to notice loss of firmness and radiance, but who are not yet ready for a stronger biostimulator like Sculptra or Radiesse. It combines well with Dermapen or fillers for a more complete skin programme. What you notice. The result builds gradually over the first 4 to 8 weeks after treatment, as collagen production gets going. The skin feels firmer, smoother and more deeply hydrated from within. Before the treatment, avoid blood-thinning medication the day before. Afterwards, avoid intense exercise, sauna and direct sun for 24 hours. Mild redness or small bumps at the injection points usually disappear within a few hours. Pregnant and breastfeeding clients cannot be treated. Inform us of any conditions or medications before booking. Per current regulations we treat no earlier than 48 hours after consultation. The same treatment type can be repeated within six months without a new cooling-off period.
