About the treatment
A small dose of Botox is placed in the orbicularis oris, the muscle surrounding the upper lip. When it relaxes, the lip edge gently turns outward and more of the lip's vermilion becomes visible. The effect is discreet but noticeable, giving you a softer, more defined upper lip. Lip flip is especially well suited if you feel your upper lip tends to disappear when you smile, or if you want to test a step before potentially trying lip filler. The two can also be combined for a more complete result. It is a quick procedure, just a few minutes. The result appears gradually during the first week. Longevity is approximately 2 to 3 months. Your treatment is performed by a registered nurse and a follow-up visit is included. Pregnant and breastfeeding individuals are advised against treatment.
