About the treatment
Over the years, the platysma muscle, the thin muscle layer stretching from the chest all the way up to the jawline, becomes increasingly prominent. During a platysma Botox treatment, our registered nurse places Botox strategically along the platysma muscle and jawline. When the muscle relaxes, it stops pulling downward, and the skin lifts naturally upward. You get a firmer neck, softer bands and a more clearly defined jawline. A Botox lift that looks completely natural, without surgery and without downtime.
The Nefertiti lift is especially popular among our clients who want to counteract the "turkey neck" that can develop with age. The treatment suits most people and can be adjusted in intensity depending on how prominent the platysma bands are. Many of our clients in Helsingborg combine the Nefertiti lift with facial Botox or fillers along the jawline for a complete rejuvenation of the entire neck and face. The result builds gradually over the first two weeks. Longevity varies, but expect 3 to 6 months. The more regularly you treat, the longer the effect tends to last. Many of our regular clients find that after a couple of sessions, they can wait up to six months between treatments.
The treatment is performed by our registered nurse and we always book a complimentary follow-up within two weeks so we can assess the result together. Pregnant and breastfeeding individuals cannot be treated.
