About the treatment
The treatment is carried out using 1 ml of premium-quality hyaluronic acid filler, injected by our registered nurse at Dibélle in Helsingborg. We work in several small deposits rather than large boluses, which gives a soft, symmetrical result without the ‘duck-lipped’ effect that classic filler techniques sometimes produce when using large volumes. The injection itself takes around 45 minutes, including planning and anaesthesia; swelling during the first two to three days is completely normal, and the results stabilise within two weeks.
The results last for 9–12 months, depending on how your body breaks down hyaluronic acid. We’ll book a free follow-up appointment within two weeks so that we can adjust the shape if anything needs fine-tuning.
Under Swedish consumer law, you have a 48-hour cooling-off period between the consultation and the treatment. We do not treat pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with an active infection in the treatment area, those with autoimmune conditions that affect healing, those taking blood-thinning medication, or those with hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine. Our clinic at Kullagatan 40 has been carrying out lip treatments since 2011.
